Job description

I provide administrative support for the Executive Director and senior executives. This position serves as a primary point of contact for external constituencies and as a liaison to the Board of Directors and leadership team.

Why did you choose this program?

It gave me an opportunity to study abroad, and truly apply what I have learned throughout my classes at HSU.

How did this program prepare you for your job?

It helped me understand communication, interpersonal, and bilingual skills. The job is political and international related and I have been applying the skills I learned in my undergrad to help the community here in Sacramento.

What did you enjoy most about the program?

The professors I took courses with, the diversity in students, and the opportunity to travel abroad for my major.

What would you say to prospective students who are thinking about applying to this program?

Do not feel tied down to one specific region, but do take a language you will enjoy and utilize.
